Targets: Lower chest

Primary: Chest

Secondary: Shoulders (front delts), Triceps

How to

  1. 1Put your hands on a bench, box or sturdy bar a little wider than shoulder width and step your feet back until your body is one straight line.
  2. 2Lower your chest to the edge with your elbows at about 45 degrees.
  3. 3Press back up until your arms are straight.
  4. 4The higher the surface, the easier it is; lower it as you get stronger until you can do push-ups on the floor.
