Terms of Service

Last updated: November 3, 2026

Welcome to Repkin. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Repkin website and application (the "App"), operated by Georges Abou Zeidan ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use Repkin

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using the App, you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away at Georges.abouzeidan@hotmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. What Repkin does

Repkin lets you log workouts, track nutrition, save progress photos, connect with friends, share and browse recipes with the community, and see gamified rank badges based on your lifts. Rank tiers and badges are a fun, in-house scale for motivation only — they are not a certified or scientific fitness or medical standard.

Food and nutrition information in the App comes from several sources: the USDA FoodData Central database; product data from Open Food Facts, which is contributed by its community and made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) — we credit Open Food Facts and its contributors; and our own estimates for some regional dishes, calculated from typical recipes. Nutrition figures from any source — especially community-entered or estimated ones — can be incomplete or inaccurate, so treat them as a guide rather than a guarantee.

4. Health & fitness disclaimer

Repkin is not a medical device or service and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise, nutrition, or weight-loss program, especially if you have a pre-existing condition. You use the App's workout, nutrition, and tracking features entirely at your own risk.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or log — workouts, progress photos, notes, and so on. By uploading content, you give us the limited permission needed to store it and display it back to you (and, where a feature is explicitly designed to share it — like a friend leaderboard — to the friends you've connected with). Progress photos are private to your account and are never shown to other users.

Recipes you post to the community are different: they are public — visible to everyone who uses Repkin, together with your display name, username and avatar — and a photo you attach to a recipe is public too. By posting a recipe you give us permission to display it to other users, including after you stop using the App unless you delete the recipe (you can delete your own recipes at any time). Only post recipes and photos that are yours to share.

Pictures you post to the Feed (a pump, a physique, or your day or week card) are visible to the people you choose when you post: your accepted friends (the default) or, if you pick "Everyone", every Repkin user, together with your display name, username and avatar. By posting you give us permission to show the picture and caption to those people until you delete the post (you can delete your own posts at any time). Only post pictures of yourself, or that are yours to share, and only ones you are comfortable showing the people you chose.

A proof video you send for the lift leaderboards is private: only you and the Repkin team can watch it, and we use it only to check your lift. The check is done automatically by an AI service, which can make mistakes: if it turns a good video down, you can film it again. A video must show you doing the lift yourself, with the weight you entered. We may turn a video down, and a video that is turned down is deleted.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Repkin to:

  • Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your identity
  • Upload unlawful, abusive, or someone else's private content without permission
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the App
  • Post spam, advertising, links, or anyone's contact details in community recipes or in your name
  • Send a proof video that isn't you, isn't the lift you entered, or shows a different weight than you claim
  • Post recipes or photos that are offensive, harassing, copied from someone else's work without permission, or that promote unsafe eating
  • Post nudity, sexual content, or pictures of other people without their permission to the Feed, or use captions or reactions to harass or bully anyone
  • Use chats or squads to harass, threaten or bully anyone, send hateful or sexual messages, or send spam

Photos you upload (to the Feed, in a chat, as a squad picture, as a profile picture or on a recipe) are checked automatically by an AI service. It can make mistakes: a photo that is clearly explicit may be refused, and one it is unsure about may be flagged for us to look at. If a good photo is refused, try another one.

Rep, the AI assistant, answers questions about training, food and the app. Rep is an AI and can be wrong: what it says is general information, not medical, nutrition or other professional advice, so check anything that matters with a doctor or a qualified coach, and stop and get help if something hurts. There is a limit on how many messages each person can send per day, and we may change, limit or remove Rep at any time. Your conversation with Rep, and a short note of the details you give him when you save a diet, are kept in your account as the Privacy Policy describes, and you can erase them.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Anyone can report a community recipe or a Feed post, and one that is reported by several people is hidden automatically while we review it. We may remove any recipe, post or photo at our discretion, and you can block another user to stop seeing their recipes and posts (and to stop them seeing yours). To report a problem directly, contact us at the address in section 14.

7. Friends & social features

Friend connections are opt-in — you choose who to connect with, and only accepted friends can see the friend leaderboard data those features are designed to show (display name, avatar, personal records, rank tier, level and XP). Repkin also has a public leaderboard, on by default, that shows your display name (or username), avatar, title, level and XP to every user; you can switch it off at any time in your Profile. You can report or block other users from it, and we may remove accounts that break these Terms from it.

You can message your friends one to one (with words, emoji and photos), and make squads (groups of up to 12 friends; people join only by accepting your invite). You can report any message, leave a squad, mute a chat, or block someone, which ends the friendship and stops messages both ways. A message reported by several people is hidden automatically while we review it, and we may remove any message or squad that breaks these Terms.

8. Subscriptions

Repkin is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we'll update these Terms and let you know before any charge applies.

9. Termination

You can stop using Repkin and delete your account at any time from your Profile settings (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including from reliance on any fitness, nutrition, or tracking data it provides.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll update the "Last updated" date above; continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
